Good Food...Good Friends...Good Times

Friday's with the Crawford's are kind of boring. I'm usually cleaning bathrooms and cutting coupons with my cuties in preparation for my Saturday morning grocery runs.

 Do you see Lily Rain eyeing my coupon bin? I think she is just waiting for the perfect opportunity to de-organize it!!

Somehow poor Lyla became "stickered" during yesterday's coupon adventures. :)

We normally go by Hong Kong and pick up the same thing : 2 orders of Hunan Chicken with white rice.  The little guy there likes us and tells us every Friday, "you good customer". That makes me smile.

But tonight, some of our favorite friends came over and cooked dinner for us. We're not talking burgers. They made us a real restaurant-quality meal. It was A-M-A-Z-I-N-G. These great friends of ours, Cory & Evanda, are just super. We call them our rock star friends because they wear skinny jeans and play music, but we love them just the same. Anyway, Cory has this wonderful gift of kitchen skills that we were able to take part in. He even used fancy things that truffle oil and capers. Who has truffle oil? Rachel Ray? Maybe...

 That's Cory. He has mad skills.

Cory's wife, Evanda, forced him to start a food blog that officially starts on Monday, so be sure to check it out. I think he might even start his blogging adventures with this meal!
